Negen buitenaardse baby's met menselijke kenmerken vluchten van hun thuis planeet Lorien om zich te verschuilen op Aarde. Ze worden gevolgd door de Mogadorians die hun eigen planeet vernietigd hebben om de baby's op te sporen. De baby's hebben allemaal een eigen lijfwacht en ze zullen superkrachten krijgen wanneer ze ouder worden. Ze hebben allemaal een nummer van één tot negen en kunnen ook alleen in die volgorde vermoord worden. Number Four (Alex Pettyfer), ook John Smith genaamd, verhuist naar Paradise, Ohio en wordt vrienden met de vriendelijke fotograaf Sarah. Na zijn hele leven op de vlucht te zijn geweest is Number Four verliefd geworden en heeft hij iets om voor te vechten.

John Milton is up against the clock: Jonah King, the leader of a Satanic cult, has murdered Milton's daughter and kidnapped her baby. In three days, King and his followers will sacrifice the child at midnight. Milton picks up the trail in Oklahoma as well as rescuing a waitress named Piper from her brutal, two-timing fiancé. There are odd things about Milton: his driver's license is out of date, he has a very strange gun, and he's being pursued by a man in a suit who carries FBI ID and calls himself the Accountant. Piper, who's lived a life on the sidelines, has to piece things together on the fly as they close in on King.

Phil Broker (Jason Statham) is een voormalig narcotica-agent, die samen met zijn dochter naar een rustig stadje verhuist, om aan zijn verleden te ontsnappen. Hij komt echter terecht in een plaats die overspoeld wordt door geweld, drugsdealers en de kwaadaardige methadonmagnaat Gator (James Franco). Het duurt niet lang voordat Phil wederom de strijd aanbindt met de criminaliteit.

Phil Broker is a former DEA agent who has gone through a crisis after his action against a biker gang went horribly wrong and it cost the life of his boss' son. He is recently widowed and is left with a 9-years-old daughter,Maddy. He decides to quit the turbulent and demanding life of thrill for Maddy's sake and retires to a small town. His daughter fights off a boy who was bullying her at school and this sets in motion a round of events that end in his direct confrontation with the local Meth drug lord. His past history with the biker gang also enters the arena, making matters more complex. But he has a mission in his mind to protect his daughter and he is ready to pay any cost that it demands.

De film vertelt het verhaal van een eeuwenoude oorlog die opnieuw oplaait wanneer een jonge boerenknecht onbewust een poort opent tussen onze wereld en die van een angstaanjagend ras van reuzen. Als de reuzen weer voor het eerst in deze eeuw worden losgelaten op Aarde streven ze er naar om het land terug te winnen wat ze ooit hebben verloren. Jack probeert hier met gevaar voor eigen leven een stokje voor te steken. Vechtend voor een koninkrijk, de bevolking, en de liefde van een dappere prinses komt hij oog in oog te staan met de niet te stuiten krijgers,  waarvan hij dacht dat ze alleen in legendes voorkwamen. Nu heeft hij de kans om zelf een legende te worden.

Sent to the market by his uncle to sell their horse and buy thatch for their roof, Jack meets the beautiful Princess Isabelle whom he rescues her from ruffians. He returns home only with a handful of beans given to him by a monk who claimed they were sacred but that does little to impress his uncle who tosses them away. In the night the Princess arrives having run off to keep from marrying Roderick who is clearly only interested in becoming king. Soon the beans take root with a giant stalk carrying away the princess and Jack's house. He soon sets off on an adventure with the king's guards to rescue the princess only to find that a mythical land filled with giants really exists.

Parker is a thief who has an unusual code. He doesn't steal from the poor and hurt innocent people. He is asked to join 4 other guys on a job. They pull it off flawlessly. They tell Parker that what they got can help them set up another job which will net them much more. But Parker doesn't want to join them and asks for his share. But they need it all so they try to kill him. They dispose of his body but someone finds him and he is still alive and takes him to the hospital. After recovering he sets out to get back at the ones who tried to kill him, another one of his codes. Despite being told that they are working for a known mobster which he was not aware of, he still wants to go after them. He learns where they are and poses as a wealthy Texan looking to buy a house. So he hires a real estate agent, Leslie Rogers to show him around. He is actually trying to find out where they're holed up. And when he finds it, he sets out on his plan to get them. But when they learn he is alive, ...

Parker (Jason Statham) is een professionele dief die leeft volgens een erecode: steel van de rijken en doe geen mensen pijn die het niet verdienen. Maar bij zijn laatste overval verraadt zijn team hem, nemen zijn deel van de buit mee en laten hem voor dood achter. Parker is vastbesloten ze hun verdiende loon te geven en spoort ze op in Palm Beach, waar de groep een grote overval beraamt. Vermomd als rijke Texaan neemt hij de knappe Leslie (Jennifer Lopez) aan als zijn partner. Samen bedenken ze een plan om de zaak recht te zetten.

In the 1930s, an elderly Tonto tells a young boy the tale of John Reid, the Lone Ranger. An idealistic lawyer, he rides with his brother and fellow Texas Rangers in pursuit of the notorious Butch Cavendish. Ambushed by the outlaw and left for dead, John Reid is rescued by the renegade Comanche, Tonto, at the insistence of a mysterious white horse and offers to help him to bring Cavendish to justice. Becoming a reluctant masked rider with a seemingly incomprehensible partner, Reid pursues the criminal against all obstacles. However, John and Tonto learn that Cavendish is only part of a far greater injustice and the pair must fight it in an adventure that would make them a legend.

John Reid (Armie Hammer) is een man van de wet die zich heeft omgevormd tot The Lone Ranger, de gemaskerde legende van rechtvaardigheid. Samen met zijn Indiaanse compagnon Tonto (Johnny Depp) bestrijdt hij hebzucht en corruptie. Beide onwaarschijnlijke helden zullen ook met elkaar moeten leren samenwerken.
